The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation

The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation seeks to alleviate the symptoms of poverty, enrich health and wellness, and empower and inspire community members to improve their lives.

Our four priority areas for funding include:

  • Alleviating and Preventing Homelessness
  • Reducing Hunger and Supporting Basic Needs
  • Improving Indigent Healthcare Services, Including Mental Health Care
  • Supporting Social Services

To a lesser degree, we focus on three targeted initiatives with grants aiming to elevate the quality of life for our community, including:

  • Supporting Access to and Improvement of Local Education
    • Funding long-established, need based college scholarships
    • Special projects to improve K-12 reading
  • Enriching the Culture and Quality of Life in Our Local Community
  • Strengthening Jewish Culture and Community Locally, Nationally, and in Israel
    • Funding social services for vulnerable populations

We fund primarily in metropolitan Tulsa, and in special cases statewide in Oklahoma and in Israel. Grants from the Foundation may be made in the form of operating, program, or capital support.

The Foundation will consider online grant requests in the months of February and September; proposals are due January 15th and July 15th, respectively. In addition, pre-selected organizations are asked to submit requests using a separate process for consideration at the May board meeting.
